Before we start, remember that your wedding day is all about celebrating love and joy. Embrace your uniqueness and let your natural beauty shine through in every pose. Topic 1: PERFECTING YOUR POSTURE

A confident and elegant posture can enhance your entire look. Let's focus on techniques to help you maintain a poised and graceful presence throughout the day.

Tip 1: Stand Tall and Engage Your Core

Imagine a string gently pulling the crown

of your head upward. Lengthen your spine, engage your core muscles, and stand tall. This simple adjustment will give you an effortlessly regal and poised appearance. It also elongates your neck and creates a flattering silhouette, making you look absolutely stunning in your wedding dress.

Tip 2: Relax Your Shoulders

As you walk down the aisle or pose for photographs, consciously release any tension in your shoulders. This will create an open and relaxed posture, allowing your natural beauty to shine through. It also prevents stiffness and ensures a more comfortable experience throughout the day.

Tip 3: Find Your Power Stance

When posing for individual shots, find a power stance that makes you feel confident and beautiful. Shift your weight slightly onto one leg, bend the other leg slightly, and let your arms hang naturally by your sides or place one hand on your hip. This pose creates a sense of elegance and sophistication, while also accentuating your curves.

Topic 2: CREATING NATURAL AND EMOTIONAL POSES

Wedding photos are all about capturing genuine emotions and the love between you and your partner. Let's explore some poses that evoke natural and heartfelt moments.

Tip 1: Lean on Love

During couple portraits, embrace your partner and lean into their chest or shoulder. This pose not only shows your love and affection but also creates a sense of intimacy and connection. It allows the photographer to capture the tenderness and closeness between you two. An example I would tell my clients is to close your eyes, take deep breaths and after a few, look up at each other and hold that gaze. That would lead to me prompting the couple to touch noses (with eyes closed!) and the inevitable giggle when I remind them how weird it is to have your eyes open that close to each other-- all fantastic photos!

Tip 2: The Whisper

Whisper sweet words or share a secret with your partner. This creates a beautifully candid moment, filled with genuine smiles and laughter. It also captures the excitement and anticipation of the day, reflecting the deep bond you share. Tongue tied? Just sniff or smooch the ear of your partner-- that always does the trick!

Tip 3: Walk Hand in Hand

As you walk together, hold hands and let your arms swing naturally. Take leisurely steps but feel free to change it up, allowing your photographer to capture those little in-between moments. Some examples are: one arm around the other, one in a belt loop or holding on with both hands near the elbow of the other. Walking together symbolizes the journey you're embarking on together, and it creates stunning candid shots.

Topic 3: EMBRACING YOUR WEDDING ATTIRE

Your wedding gown is a symbol of elegance and beauty. Let's explore posing techniques that will showcase your dress and make you feel like a radiant bride.

Tip 1: Show off the Back Details

If your dress has intricate back details, such as lace or buttons, ask your photographer to capture shots that highlight those features. Turn your back to the camera, slightly angle your body, and glance over your shoulder. This pose showcases the stunning back design of your gown and adds a touch of allure.

Tip 2: Graceful Arm Placement

When posing with your bouquet or without any props, avoid stiffly holding your arms against your body. Instead, let them naturally fall at your sides, create gentle curves with your fingers, or lightly touch your collarbone. These elegant arm placements add grace and sophistication to your poses. When in doubt, switch it up! Shake off any awkward poses and try something else but don't worry about it too much; a seasoned photographer will find the beautiful in-between moments.

Tip 3: The Veil's Magic

If you're wearing a veil, take advantage of its ethereal beauty. Let the wind gently play with it as you walk or pose. Allow the veil to flow around you, creating a sense of enchantment and romance. This adds a touch of whimsy to your photographs and enhances the overall dreamy atmosphere. And remember to smile even if the wind blows the veil in your face or out of place, these moments can photograph so well if you just laugh about it!

And that's it! Remember dear brides, your wedding day is a celebration of love, and the photographs will forever preserve those precious memories. By focusing on perfecting your posture, creating natural and emotional poses, and embracing your wedding attire, you'll create stunning images that reflect the essence of your unique love story. So, have confidence, enjoy every moment, and let your beauty radiate through every pose. Wishing you a wedding day filled with love, joy, and magical memories!
